I have just now had the great pleasure of completing my listening to The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, courtesy of Project Gutenberg, and I should think it greatly worth anyone's while to do so as well.
Yeah, okay, a proper English gentleman I'm not, but I completely enjoyed the book (actually a collection of 11 or 12 short stories), and especially as it took my mind off of local commuter traffic while I listened. PG has 7 other Holmes audiobooks, and I expect to make my way through them all. The books were made, sold, and then released for free by www.audiobooksforfree.com, and were very well done.
