Packet Radio

I want to connect my radio to some computer, to be able to do VHF packet.  This page is to document my efforts.

• Raspberry Pi 3B+
• Raspbian (the base OS)
• Direwolf (software TNC)
• PTT on GPIO 25
• Homebrew PTT circuit
• GPIO 25 input
• Transistor to control PTT
• Audio connections from USB soundcard on RasPi to 6-pin DIN
• Yaesu FT-8900R
• 6-pin DIN cable to data port
• RG8X coax feedline (50-foot cable run)
• Homebrew 2m/440 dipole
