Talked to my parents this morning. Found out that they indeed had power, and were back at home. Also found out that things were quite a mess, and packed up chainsaw and other supplies and drove down to Pensacola.
Saw plenty of downed trees along the highway heading down, and found Flomaton, AL, to be pretty hard hit. Below there, saw plenty of utility trucks from all over (including a PP&L truck), but no Gulf Power trucks (I suppose they are all in town).
Picked up the yard a bit (lots of shingles, and plenty of soffit and panels from the carport ceiling).
