Whew. Bagged leaves from the gutters, so they wouldn't clog up dad's storm drain, fixed an inside light that got knocked down (!), had ribs for lunch with my parents and grandmothers, cut maybe half of a tree apart with a chainsaw (man, chainsaws are a thing of beauty, lemme tell ya!), fixed a winch that had a frayed cable, dragged brush to the curb, and took a well needed shower.
That light that needed fixing: winds removed soffit from under the eaves, and we're guessing that the force of the wind that came up into the attic shook the ceiling hard enough to dislodge one of mom's two fluorescent light fixtures. That's some wind.
