Saints and Soldiers

This is another LDS-related movie that I'd heard really good things about, and really enjoyed as well. It's a WWII movie, with several battle scenes, but, as a good movie should be, it's more about the characters than the action.

I mentioned that it's LDS-related, but you might only notice that if you're LDS yourself. A character is a former missionary from Snowflake, AZ, and doesn't like coffee, but is otherwise simply a moral soldier.

One surprise I got watching the "making of" short feature is that it was filmed for under $1 million. It was very well done, and had no feel of being low budget.
