Tilopa - KyotakuLive (Magnatune.com)

Plugged as "modern Japanese zen-flute". Well, I didn't know what a zen-flute was. Now I do. Apparently, I have other recordings where a zen-flute is played as an intro or in the background. Why anyone would think that an hour (give or take) of solo zen-flute could be interesting escapes me. I made it about half-way through before hitting "stop", and I'll skip the other three as well. Sorry.

Perhaps there's more to it than this, but it just sounded like single tones played for several seconds at a time. No motion, no action, no rhythm. Nothing. For a select audience, it would seem.
