Apparently there's a music site called EMusic.com that sells DRM-free
MP3's for what works out to be $0.25 each. The Slashdot article says
they just "relaunched", and the comments seem to indicate that it used
to be better, depending on your tastes. There's not much (or perhaps
no) major label stuff, which is bad if that's what you want, or good
if you don't want to support the evil empire du jour.
I signed up, and we'll see if I make it past the "first month free"
and into the paid part. It's $10/month for 40 downloads.
