Well, I now have Emacs 21.2.1 on moose, and I'm starting to notice some differences. For instance, I have had (for longtime now) an add-on script called cycle-mini.el that enhances such things as the file open mechanism. Anyway, it stopped working in 21.2, and I didn't know why. Well, I Googled it, and found a new version of cycle-mini.el that does work, and that mentioned some changes to the way Emacs 21 handles the buffer. Looks like it might be RTFM time once again.
