Clockstoppers

So in Mrs. Frank's latest trip to the video store, she picked up Clockstoppers. I had seen it advertised on Nick, and it looked okay, so we made it a family event.

Hmmm. What to say. It was well done, for a teen flick, and the effects were pretty darn cool. (Now just how do they do that 3D rotating still shot freeze frame stuff?) And it had a pretty decent story as well.

OTOH, it was somewhat forgettable, and a little bit trite with the father/son schmaltz, but still worth the rental, and it beat sitting there staring at the wall. And morally acceptable, (except for the obligatory immodestly dressed females). Two desperate-for-tv thumbs somewhere between level and straight up.
