Google Maps and Lat/Long

Oops, my bad. Having a link that looks like this will take you to a specific lat/long in Google Maps, (in this case, somewhere near Milwaukee). (Thanks to Pete at RasterWeb for that one.)

Now then, how do we go from a map to a lat/long? Or picking a zoom level from the URL?

It always pays to do a little query string hacking. ;)

It's in beta, and they want feedback, make sure you suggest anything you think might be useful, like better geo-hacking features.

Oh yeah, zoom level control would be nice. I did not figure that one out, though I really only spent a few minutes on it.
