A little while back, on my other blog, I mentioned a curiosity I've had regarding natural language, namely how the choice of language affects your ability to express various ideas. Joel Spolsky recently posted a blog entry talking about that very subject, bemoaning the fact that "To someone who has never learned Hebrew it takes me two or three books to explain" the difference between two Hebrew words (or phrases; I don't know Hebrew). Quite curious.
