So now there's this Wired article out there saying that the major labels are talking to various P2P networks to strike deals. The Grokster and the collapse of Induce Act talks are cited as factors. The heat surrounding the Induce Act talks makes me really hesitant to get excited about this, but you've got Mitch Glazier of RIAA saying "We are going to see three or four of these [sanctioned P2P services] in the very, very near future".
Curiouser and curiouser.
