Fluid - Five Star Fall

Gave a listen to another of Magnatune's new releases. This one is by Fluid, named Five Star Fall. It's plugged as "tuneful retro pop rock", and while it has a bit harder edge than I like, it was still a really good album, which I passed along to a few coworkers.

In other Magnatune news, they recently sent out an email with a link for past customers to give them a free album download. I am in the process now of pulling down Ehren Starks The Depths of a Year release, which I've gone back and listened to a couple more times since I reviewed it here.

And, Magnatune is offering physical CDs (burned on demand, apparently) for their offerings.

One way-cool, non-evil music label.
