Plugged as "progressive jazz". This one is pretty nice, but a bit too fusion-y and a bit too busy for my tastes. Kinda reminds me vaguely of the jazz they play in the "Grandma's Kisses" episode of SpongeBob, where, to be adults, they have to "acquire a taste for free-form jazz". (Yeah, call me Patrick; I don't get that kind of jazz, either.)
Worth trying out, but probably won't make it up to a "buy" for me. I'll give their other album a try shortly, I think.

I was actually searching for a transcript of that Spongebob episode when I found your blog. I've never heard of Thursday Group but I'm going to check them out. If anyone reading this actually knows the artist of the "free-form jazz" clip from that Spongebob episode please post a comment here! I want to know!
