The Linux Mirror Project

Another wonderful use of BitTorrent is the distribution of stuff that is guaranteed (SCO and MS's efforts notwithstanding) free to distribute: Free/Libre Software. In the past, we've been quite blessed by the generosity of various companies (like OSDN's SourceForge) and universities to provide mirror sites for the downloading of free software. Now, users and proponents can give back. TLMP has recent/latest ISOs of various distros, including "Fedora, Slackware, Debian, Mandrake, Knoppix, and many more" (like SuSE and DSL, for instance), available as torrents. If I ever manage to collect the whole set of MST3K eps, I'm almost certain to throw some of my bandwidth this way.
